GRASSROOT – BALTIC CIRCUS ARTISTS’ NETWORK
We are glad to announce the Baltic Circus Grassroot network ensuring the possibility for Baltic circus artists to meet, to work and to grow together during the 2021 with main support of Nordic Culture Point and other partners.
Main goal of the project is that artists will take an active part in the decision making process to create the necessary boost for the artistic community.
The project will provide the following opportunities for Baltic circus artists:
- 4 online gatherings to shape the network and shape the project content.
- 4 workshops – Creative workshop dedicated to collective creation. The first real-life gathering will be organized around a collective creation process to allow artists to experience working together and initiate artistic collaborations for the future. Registration form open!
– Thematic workshops to answer the needs of the artists. Workshop thematics will cover scenography, dramaturgy, production and promotion.
All artists are welcome to apply and join the workshops and the first 8 who will apply will be able to receive travel support! - 5 mobility grants to kickstart artistic collaboration between the Baltic artists. In order to boost collaboration with artists from neighboring countries, there will be 5 travel bursaries available for individual travels to kickstart new collaborative creations bilaterally.
