Fast-paced and visually striking, Maelstrom combines aerial straps, partner acrobatics, dance, physical theatre, and classical music to explore masculinity and vulnerability. The performance brings questions of masculinity, its history and conventions to the forefront, creating an immersive world full of humour, emotion, and surprise. Rather than offering answers, it follows two men on a journey of self-discovery and relationship, inviting the audience to reflect on the grey areas of the topic.
