RE RĪGA!: 60 DEGREES OF SEPARATION. CAMILLE PAYCHA
The performance 60 Degrees of Separation is inspired by social psychologist Stanley Milgram’s theory of six degrees of separation, which suggests that each of us is connected to every other person through no more than six handshakes. Bringing this idea into dialogue with aerial acrobatics, artist Camille Paycha creates an intimate yet collective experience accompanied by live music. The work explores the boundary between care and risk, forming an immersive and collaborative space: a drummer on a rolling platform, acrobats suspended in the air, and spectators whose presence becomes an integral part of the performance.
