On Wednesday, May 23 at 6 PM in Kaņepes Kultūras centrs – first talks about circus. Riga Circus is changing and this is the right time for circus expert Yohann Flock to let us be aware of diversity of contemporary circus art and understand what is characteristic working with circus management.
The Riga Circus is becoming a contemporary art center – a place where different disciplines of art – circus, theater, dance, music and cinema – come together; and here’s much to see, find out and learn for people of all ages and interests.
“This is very important that during this time of changing professional knowledge and experience, willingness to share ideas are available to us. Talks about circus will serve as a platform for changing ideas and promoting understanding. By inviting some interesting and experienced guest we are planning to discover different crossing points of circus with other arts and activities ,” says Ināra Kehre, the member of the board of Riga Circus.
