“CircAbility” – Inclusive Circus for Everyone

From 14 to 27 July, 12 young artists from Riga Circus School participated in the Erasmus+ youth exchange project “CircAbility” in Sankt Gilgen, Salzburg.

Together with 26 participants from Latvia and Austria, they spent two weeks exploring inclusive circus arts.

Project Goals:

  • Encouraging cultural exchange: Young people from different countries and
backgrounds learned from each other and grew together as a group.
  • Developing circus skills: All participants – with and without physical disabilities –
discovered new abilities and pushed their limits. They also developed social,
    cultural, educational, and professional skills.
  • Promoting social inclusion: Circus became a shared language to break down
    barriers and challenge stereotypes.

The project ended with an impressive inclusive circus performance, where all participants
showcased their skills and progress.
