This summer the Contemporary Circus and Street Art Festival RE RIGA! is inviting you to the renovated arena of Rīgas cirks, where we will celebrate the theme of arrival – arriving back home, arriving at a new, unusual or even impossible space or returning to a place that feels familiar.
The opening event of the festival with shows and discussions about the circus will take place on August 15th at Rīgas cirks. You are invited to choose the time when you will attend the event. If you want to spend the whole evening celebrating with us the eleventh edition of the festival, please choose free tickets for all parts of the event.
“RE RIGA!” OPENING DAY CELEBRATION IN 3 PARTS
Entrance from Merkela street, through the red gate, from 16:30.
You can come early and visit the bar, take a drink and enjoy it in the circus yard.
Part I
17.30-18.30 including performance “Pachamamo” (45 min) by Cronopio the Clown
Part II
18.30-20.00 including performance “Yin Zero” (25 min.) by Cie Monad
Part III
20.00-22.30 including work-in-progress “Smaller Than Three” (20 min.) by Recover Laboratory
