Itch and Art For Rainy Days in Poland. BALTIC CIRCUS ON THE ROAD 2025

In the framework of the “BALTIC CIRCUS ON THE ROAD” project a showcase of Baltic performances took place. During July 24-27, 2025 the annual “Carnaval Sztukmistrzów Festival 2025” in Lublin, Poland two Baltic circus artist companies performed with the support of Baltic Culture Fund.
On July 24-25, 2025 the group “Teatronas” performed with the performance “Itch” at the Centre for Culture in Lublin. “Itch” is a contemporary circus and theatre essay about the fear of death,which is one of the most common causes of anxiety, often manifesting itself in various indirect ways.
On July 26-27, 2025 the group “Art For Rainy Days” performed with the performance “How a spiral works”, which is a live contemporary circus performance using aerial rope and a dance. In this intimate duet, one dancer, one aerialist, and one rope are bound together in an ever-evolving relationship.
Over these four days (July 24-27, 2025) a total of 552 people attended these performances, while the total number of attendees on each of the days were 138.
