Purpose of the workshop: Pleasure to do the work, Quality in repetition, Having fun;
The idea is to share the same pleasure “Defracto” artists are having during the creation process. Absurd challenges, search of limits and engagement. Letting the flow into the work that leads us to repeat infinitely the same moves until we entirely become those moves.
When: August 14, 2024, 14.00-18.00
Where: Riga circus school, Zeļļu street 25
Participants: Circus and other performing artists, students and enthusiasts, aged at least 16
Language: English
Basic juggling skills are necessary. It will be a technical and creative workshop!
Intensive work with several short sessions to experiment with the Defracto vision of juggling:
• Technical Fundamentals Tools
• A rhythmic and visual juggling
• Creation and writing process
The whole idea is to enjoy the same pleasure that we do during the creation of our shows. We will use technical tools to put ourselves open to creation. We will move until we find the state to push several limits.
Sweatpants and sneakers are needed to be part of the workshop.
