Go back DANDELION to be showed in schools in Latvia

The “Circus for Climate” project is gradually coming to the end. We have worked together in workshops, created a show and a comic book and learned a lot of new things together! It’s time to wrap up, but there is still more to come.
What happens next?
Already this fall, DANDELION will be part of the “School Bag” (“Latvijas skolas soma”) program: during the 2023/24. school year, it is planned to present a traveling version of the show in schools all over Latvia. The school show will be a concentrated version of the big show, but just as powerful and thought-provoking.
Whats’s the “School Bag” (“Latvijas skolas soma”) program about?
“Latvijas skolas soma” is an educational program that provides students with the opportunity to get to know Latvian cultural values and contemporary expressions. Through the “School Bag” program, students get to know cultural developments in music, theater, dance, circus, visual arts, cinema, architecture, design, tangible and intangible cultural heritage, literature and bookselling, which provide artistic enjoyment, provoke reflection on personally significant and socially current issues.
