Go back Photo – Looking back on “Cirkuliacija” festival in Kaunas

Here is a little photo gallery looking back on “Cirkuliacija” festival, which took place in Lithuania, Kaunas from 8th until the 11th of June. Rigas cirks team went to the festival, to meet circus professionals from other European countries and to see new contemporary circus shows, including shows from the artists of “Rigas cirks” projects – “Grassroot” and “Baltic Circus on the Road” – for example, “Big Wolf Company” and “Circus Sabok” from Estonia, as well as “Kanta Company” from Lithuania. The festival program included multiple shows from France, to name one – circus company “Cirque Aital” performed an amazing show called “For Better or for Worse“.
An important fact to mention here is that the international “Circostrada” meeting took place in the festival – for the fist time this meeting happened in the Baltics.
Rigas cirks team presented to the festival attendees news about the circus building reconstruction process, the project “Circus for Climate“ and the contemporary circus festival “ReRiga” which will happen this year from the 17th until the 21st of August.
