Artūrs Nīgalis – “Made by person”
16.10.2025.
In the dance performance “Made by Person”, three dancers confront their instincts and their attempts to control them, interacting with kettlebells suspended from the ceiling. It is a human collage expressed through emotions, instincts, and the body’s genuine reactions. The dancers’ bodies are provoked and challenged in order to reveal an unfiltered human experience.
In a time when information, texts, and ideas are generated within seconds, “Made by Person” seeks to reclaim the need to pause – to feel, to rediscover oneself and those around. From speed, precision, and systematization, the movement shifts towards reaction, the body, and vulnerability.
