Iveta Girtakovska

What’s the difference between dancing in a cabaret and in a circus arena? Iveta Girtakovska, who came to the circus ballet troupe right from the dancing in the cabaret, says that in the circus everything is always new as something always changes.

Iveta was asked to replace one of the ballet girls, and she utterly and completely fell in love with the circus. At first, it was quite difficult because everything seemed very unusual and differed from her previous dance routines. Nevertheless, no matter how hard it has been, Iveta likes it because in the circus things are constantly changing. Costumes change, dance routines change, music changes… Apart from dancing in the ballet shoes, everything else has been tried in the arena, even flying over other dancers like a butterfly being attached to the rope!

Iveta’s story is about the family atmosphere of the circus which fascinates and draws in from the very first encounter with the circus.
