CIRKS KOSMOSĀ / BOARDING PASS PLUS
CIRCUS IN SPACE is a project led by Teatro Necessario (Italy), together with Ultimo Punto / Artisti in Piazza (Italy), Tony Clifton Circus (Italy), Gli Omini (Italy), Riga Circus, Bussola (Portugal), Cirque Bidon (France), Los Galindos (Spain), Animakt (France), Ludifico (Serbia) from November 2022 to September 2024.
The CIRCS IN SPACE project is part of the Italian Ministry of Culture’s BOARDING PASS PLUS programme. It aims to strengthen relations between Italian and foreign partners and support artists at the beginning of their careers or who have not had significant international professional experience. CIRCUS IN SPACE focuses on contemporary circus practices that inhabit public spaces and unconventionally selected sites, incorporating new models of relationship with space and/or the public into their dramaturgy.
