Repetition, synchronisation and gradual rhythmic shifts create a hypnotic interplay between movement and sound.<\/p>\n<p>This production marked the beginning of Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker&#8217;s international career and became one of the most significant works in the history of contemporary dance, laying the foundations for the artistic language of her later-established dance company, Rosas. Over more than 40 years, the production has been performed hundreds of times on international stages and continues to be presented today.<\/p>\n<p>In 2002, to mark the 20th anniversary of the choreography, director Thierry De Mey created its cinematic adaptation. Filmed in different settings, the camera&#8217;s perspective, editing, interplay of light and space give movement a new dimension. The film features the choreographer herself performing alongside dancer Mich\u00e8le Anne De Mey.<\/p>\n<h3>Before the screening<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Choreographer Kri\u0161j\u0101nis Sants<\/strong> (\u201cTUVUMI\u201d) will give an introduction before the screening.
