The 2025 festival will open with a performance by Federico Menini.<\/p>\n

\u201cLlar\u201d\u00a0(\u201chome\u201d\u00a0in Catalan) is a meeting point between architecture and circus art, where the main role is given to the material \u2014 wood. At the heart of the performance lies the artist\u2019s search for and creation of a space where one can live, feel safe, and at peace. Responding to current global political events, the juggler constructs and balances wooden elements in a quest for stability. He develops his own language \u2014 full of surprises.<\/p>\n

\u201cLlar\u201d\u00a0is the result of long-term research and experimentation, drawing inspiration primarily from various artistic disciplines. It is an original, unique, and innovative performance for audiences of all kinds, addressing contemporary themes through refined juggling technique.<\/p>\n

Federico Menini studied architecture and the arts in different countries around the world before turning to contemporary circus. His performances reveal a broad artistic vision: sculpture, social theatre, video, engraving, photography, art criticism, landscape design, and more. Menini sees circus as a fascinating multidisciplinary art form where all of these elements converge.<\/p>\n

Federico Menini\u2019s works have received multiple awards at circus festivals. Among them is his performance\u00a0\u201cOyun\u201d, which was presented at the\u00a0RE RIGA! 2023\u00a0festival.<\/p>\n
