In this piece, the artist merge their traditional values and modern outlooks on the current state of the world, merging dance, aerial rope, and hair-hanging. The two performers are connected. Both influence each other, unable to separate. They are two but must become one.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

About the show “How A Spiral Works”<\/h3>\n

Art For Rainy Days performance “How A Spiral Works” is a unique, meditative, hypnotic contemporary circus, blending contemporary dance, hair hanging & aerial rope with reinvented Baltic folk music & minimal aesthetics. It provokes an audience to consider slowness and challenges the idea of circus as a spectacle.
\nRenowned British circus dramaturg Jason Dupree in collaboration with acclaimed choreographer Alise Bokaldere (LV) and the incredible aerialist Izabele Kuzelyte (LT). The trio join forces to create a collaboration between the west and east of Europe. In this piece, the artists merge their traditional values and modern outlooks.
