CIRCUSNEXT OPEN CALL FOR PROJECTS 2024<\/h3>\n

Baltic circus artists! circusnext<\/a> platform has announced Open Call for new creations. Apply till April 17!<\/p>\n

For 20 years now, circusnext is one of the most important starting points in the career development of emerging contemporary circus artists in Europe. It aims at identifying emerging artists who develop a singular approach to circus as authors.<\/p>\n

All types of circus creations are admissible except circus acts: all creative contexts, all types of forms, formats, duration, aesthetics, subject, target audience, all circus disciplines and all interdisciplinary endeavours between circus and other art forms.<\/p>\n

Who can apply:<\/h3>\n

Individuals or company (no legal structure required when applying)<\/p>\n

Emerging circus authors \u2013 emergence is understood as a level of professional recognition and should not be confused with youth.<\/p>\n

No age limit (min. 18 years old)<\/p>\n

No circus degree is required<\/p>\n

You should not be studying in a circus school after June 2023<\/p>\n

No previous Jeunes Talents Cirque Laureates or circusnext shortlisted\/Laureates<\/p>\n

You can apply with your 1st, 2nd or even 3rd creation (self-produced creations do not count).<\/p>\n
