Directed by the artists from Acting for Climate (Norway) in collaboration with contemporary circus and dance artists from Latvia, using the language of circus and other movement based art fields, to express these concerns.<\/p>\n<p>The performance and the comic book that will accompany the performance, are being created with the aim to creatively promote more sustainable thinking among youngsters in different regions of Latvia, as well as to encourage young people to become more active in society\u2019s processes as a whole.<\/p>\n<p>More information to follow soon.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<blockquote><p>The project is created by\u00a0 \u201cR\u012bgas cirks\u201d in collaboration with \u201cActing for Climate\u201d. It\u2019s main goal is to explore the collective empowerment that a multidisciplinary approach to education, art and activism can provide. The aim is to create a space for youngsters, artists and environmental specialists to meet and to work together across different regions of Latvia around the topic of art activism for environmental sustainability.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>More about the project <a href=\"https:\/\/cirks.lv\/en\/cooperation\/circus-for-climate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HERE<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The project has been created with the support of the European Economic Area (EEA) Grants Financial Mechanism funding period 2014. \u2013 2021. programme \u201cLocal Development, Poverty Reduction, and Cultural Cooperation\u201d open call \u201cSupport for the Creation of Professional Art and Cultural Products for Children and Youth\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The project\u2019s total eligible costs are\u00a0 231 636 euros. The project Nr.EEZ\/2021\/1\/16 \u201cCircus for Climate\u201d created by SLLC \u201cR\u012bgas cirks\u201d in collaboration with \u201cActing for Climate\u201d benefits from a financing of 196 890.65 euros from Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway EEA Grants and 34 745.42 euros from national co-financing.
