Conference \u201cRoots and Routes \u2013 Pathways in Circus Education\u201d<\/a><\/h3>\n

On April 15\u201317, 2026\u00a0R\u012bgas cirks is organizing the\u00a03rd Riga International Conference on Circus Education in conjunction with FEDEC Spring Talks.<\/p>\n

The conference is an international event in circus education held in Riga every four years, bringing together Baltic and European performing arts professionals: formal and non-formal educators, artists, producers, and cultural education policy-makers.\u00a0The theme of the 2026 conference is\u00a0\u201cRoots and Routes \u2013 Pathways in Circus Education\u201d, focusing on the development pathways of contemporary circus arts education and examining the tension and interplay between established educational structures and alternative, hybrid models of professional development.<\/p>\n

The conference will\u00a0feature three parallel tracks: a FEDEC members\u2019 programme on April 15\u201316, an open programme for all audiences on April 17, and a children\u2019s programme on April 15\u201316.<\/p>\n

The conference will be held in R\u012bgas cirks (Merkela Street 4)
\nWorking language: English.<\/p>\n
