Acrobat and dancer
Aleksandrs acquired a master’s degree in philology in 2015 and undertook psychology studies in the University of Latvia for one and a half years.
His passion with explorations of physical abilities started in 2003. He practiced break-dance for eight years and performed with a team “Dope Generation Crew” from Daugavpils. Simultaneously he practiced acrobatics, capoeira, and different martial arts, as well as performed as actor and dancer. At the moment he takes part in different events in Latvia with acrobatics shows and regularly trains himself in dance and improvisation, as well as visits masterclasses connected to body exploration. He is especially interested in yoga and the structure of human body. Aleksandrs has conducted break-dance classes for groups of children aged 7-14, as well as masterclasses in acrobatics and body exploration.
At Riga Circus School, Aleksandrs leads a group of beginners (10 + year olds) and through the basic disciplines of the circus – acrobatics, juggling and balance – students not only learn the basic elements of each discipline, but also develop their overall physical fitness, concentration capabilities and creativity.
