INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON CIRCUS EDUCATION
On April 12th the house of theatre “Zirgu pasts” will host a conference on circcus education. It will allow to gain from experiences of specialists from Northern and Western Europe. In long term it will give a valuable basis for the development of circus education in the Baltic states and highlight Riga as one of the main points of circus education in the map of Europe.
With the launch of Riga Circus to a National Centre for Circus Education in the Latvian capital, circus education in the Baltic region is set to spiral and increase in significance in the coming years.
We will focus on how ‘art’ can transform people’s’ lives through teaching and how to create structures to educate the best circus artists for tomorrow’s brave world. A live stream will be available on the day of conference HERE.
